The Design
Firstly, you will need to email me with a description of the design. Be as descriptive as possible, have a design in mind. Any design sketches are most welcome. If you find a design that you like from the choker gallery but would like to combine it with another, please be sure to state the choker names in reference.
* Please do not ask me to duplicate another person's design! I will not do it, as I respect others' work. I may get inspiration from a design, but I will certainly not duplicate it.

Materials
Make sure you list the materials and colours of your preference. Please refer to the swatches below when choosing your materials.

Velvet

I use velvet of two different widths. 16mm wide and 22mm wide. The 16mm I use for the thinner chokers that you see in the galleries and the 22mm I use for the thicker designs. Please keep this in mind, as generally most thinner designs look more flattering on shorter necks, and the wider designs are better suited to longer necks. It all really depends on your preference.

Satin

Satin is available in many colours. Generally I use shades which are similar to the velvets above, so please use this as a guide. If you are after another colour, please let me know and I will hunt it down for you. I also use the same widths for satin as mentioned above.

Beading/Centrepieces

I am constantly using different centrepieces and beads with my jewellery, so there would be far too many to list! Please browse the site to get an idea of what you like and make sure to reference the product name of the design/s that you would like to re-create.

Sizing
For an accurate fit, you will need to check your neck measurement with the guidelines below.

I make chokers an average size of 31-32cm - which leaves a 2-3cm gap at the back, as I find this to be the most common size when people are trying on chokers. All chokers have a 5cm long extension chain, which gives you the option to make it slightly larger if neccessary. However, to ensure a perfect fit, it is recommended that you state your measurement when making your order.
A good fitting choker should fit snugly against your neck, but not too tightly so to be uncomfortable. Chokers are not like a corset. You should be able to slip your index finger in between your neck and the choker.

Deadline
This is very important! Please specify when you need the piece by, so I know how much time I have to work with and whether the timeframe is possible. All chokers and other pieces are made on the order, even those not custom, and are made by me and only me. I will do my very best to meet the deadline you specify.
You should allow at least 1-2 days for production time, plus postage time, which will vary depending on where you are located. For orders within Australia, regular post usually takes between 2-3 days. For International orders, please allow 1-2 weeks.

Price
Once I have received your order, I will email you back with a price for the custom piece, and we will go from there.
